Corktown by Ty Hutchinson

Corktown (Abby Kane FBI Thriller book 1) by Ty Hutchinson.

Abby Kane is going to be a part of my life for some time I am sure. This was an extremely good book. Plenty of tension sexual, professional, familial and more, but you'll have to buy the book to find out about that.

Abby Kane - CorktownI spent an hour and a half after I went to bed last night trying hard to shut the book and get some sleep. I just couldn't put it down, until my eyes kept shutting.

The plot is exciting? Yes. Interesting? Yes. Convoluted? No, but mixed up enough to keep you guessing.

The characters were vulnerable, professional, crooked, loving, I don't know, just think about people you know. They were REAL.

And the writing/imagery was really quite fascinating.

What am I talking about? Have a think about this, for example:

“… neighbourhood where everyone’s front yard looked like a public dumping ground. Cars and kitchen appliances were the most popular lawn decorations.”
